Dogs are our loyal companions, who provide us with endless love!
Sometimes they behave in ways which can cause stress and problems in everyday life. Finding the underlying cause of the problem is crucial in helping to resolve a behaviour issue. I provide dog behaviour consultations using compassionate, scientific and up to date, reward-based methods. I am passionate about dog welfare, improving the lives of dogs and enhancing dog-owner relationships.
Behaviour consultations (home-visit) help to address problems such as anxiety, aggression, destructiveness, repetitive behaviour, toileting issues, socialisation problems (other animals and people), vocalisation, attention seeking behaviour, resource guarding and many more.

“Charlotte was extremely helpful with a few behaviour problems that we were having with our dog (19 month old golden retriever). She spent a couple of hours with us, making notes and writing a comprehensive report with suggestions for the future. Charlotte has extensive knowledge and experience of dog behaviour and we would highly recommend her. We now enjoy happy ,relaxed times with our dog.” - Sally
"Charlotte came to us to help us with a few problems we had with our dogs. We hadn’t met with a dog behaviourist before and didn’t know what to expect. As soon as I opened the front door to Charlotte one of our dogs that always continuously barks at new people, stopped barking and went straight to Charlotte and started licking her. I call her the dog whisperer! Charlotte is a warm, kind professional lady and an extremely knowledgeable behaviourist. I felt at complete ease having her in our home, and enjoyed learning things I never knew about our dogs, and why they do what they do. Our dogs are now behaving much better! About a week later we received an extremely detailed report on our dogs, which is great to go back and refer to. I highly recommended Charlotte. " - Zara |
"I really want to thank you for taking the time and effort to meet Scooby and his family. Your gentle nature and quite confident approach to Scooby was really key because he can be very wary of people. Your ability to develop a rapport with Scooby and me as his owner was vital to your understanding of the his problems and assessing his personality. I also felt that you engaged extremely well with Scooby and was able to gain his trust in you.
I found you professional in your approach, competent and engaging. Your initial assessment report of Scooby and follow up report was excellent and very comprehensive with clear aims, theories and interventions. We particularly liked the illustrations and diagrams. Your suggestions in managing Scooby’s behaviour was helpful and clear, easy to implement as a family. Overall you knowledge and expertise in dog behaviour was impressive. Scooby and his family would like to thank you for all your support, particularly the information on resources. We now feel more confident as a family in working with Scooby and hope that the strategies you suggested will continue to improve his behaviour. He has already made great leaps and bounds." - Musfika |
